Curators: Katia Yezli and Julie Curtiss

Collider is an intensive experimental workshop attempting to explore and activate the creative process and what lies behind it.

It started with a virtual catalogue - Winter Catalogue, which is detailed in the main blog and has shifted its focus onto the process rather than the "final object" - in collaboration and across different practices that include visual artists, performers, musicians, architects and writers.

The programme includes conferences, lectures, debates, meditation, free writing, performances, and ends with a show.

A wall with multiple references - a kind of collective mental map - becomes a visual representation of the ongoing exchanges that took place beforehand and throughout the workshop. At the same time it is a wall posting for all involved and a mind mapping tool through which unexpected connections can emerge.

The project also includes an ad hoc scenographic structure, designed by Iris Touliatou, which, depending on the situation, becomes a round table for a discussion, a working desk, a box to put things away, or even an impromptu prop for performers to play with.
